The power inverter is a device that converts direct current voltage from a car battery or a car cigarette lighter socket into alternating voltage ~230 V. It is the same type of voltage available in standard electrical outlets across Europe. The inverter is an ideal solution for anyone traveling by car, motorhome or truck. It is perfect for places where there is no direct access to the mains.

Thoughtful design
The device was designed with an emphasis on maximum comfort of use. On the front of the inverter there is a mains socket compatible with plugs used in Europe. It also includes a USB port, allowing you to charge a smartphone, e-book reader or any other USB-powered device.

On the rear of the inverter there is a fan that ensures proper cooling of the device.
The entire device is enclosed in a compact yet very durable housing. It is made of high-quality aluminum that provides resistance to mechanical damage and shocks during travel. Thanks to the materials used, the inverter is also very lightweight.

Important parameters
When choosing an inverter, pay attention to parameters such as input voltage [V] and power [W]. These values are key because an incorrectly selected input voltage or too low inverter power may cause connected devices to not work properly or not be powered at all.

VOLTAGE

The first parameter to determine is the battery voltage. It must be fully compatible with the voltage indicated on the inverter. The most common value is 12 V, which is used in passenger cars, motorhomes and some trucks. The other common value is 24 V, which is mainly used in trucks.

POWER
After choosing the correct voltage, it is necessary to select an appropriate inverter power. This is a key parameter because it determines which devices and to what extent can be powered by the inverter.
If you want to connect a specific device to the inverter, check its nameplate to see its power consumption. When connecting multiple devices, their power consumptions must be added together.

The total power consumption of connected devices should not exceed 85% of the inverter‘s rated power. For example, for a laptop with a power consumption of 100 W and a refrigerator with a power consumption 300 W, an inverter with a power of 500 W or higher.

Why choose a pure sine wave?
Choosing an inverter with a pure (full) sine wave is the safest solution because it produces the same type of electrical current that is available in standard outlets in Europe.
