ABS GP450 is an industrial-grade filament for 3D printing. It is a material with
an amorphous structure, its popularity is due to its high impact
toughness, hardness and relatively high scratch resistance. ABS
GP450 is very useful for printing durable and impact-resistant parts.
The material composition has been optimized compared to standard ABS for additive
manufacturing, allowing very high-speed printing (up to 200 mm/s) without
any loss of mechanical properties. Another particularly important
aspect is the easy breakaway of support structures. Moreover, ABS GP450 shows
improved first layer adhesion to the 3D printer build plate, which
reduces strong warping and edge curling of the model.
Good mechanical properties, especially high material deformability and its
high impact toughness allow the production of both static and dynamic
load-bearing parts in various designs. Especially good insulation properties
of the Spectrum ABS GP450 filament allow printing of parts that protect against
electric current, while the relatively high hardness allows printing of
tools and equipment used in assembly or mass production.
ABS GP450 shows significantly higher mechanical strength than other similar materials available on the market.
