Ecological 3D printing
Spectrum rPETG is an ecological 3D
printing material that fits into the sustainability initiative. The filament is
created by reusing a recycled stream of leftover extrusion waste.
The raw material is collected, shredded, re-mixed, and homogenized into
a high-quality and easy-to-print recycled PETG filament with a much smaller environmental impact. Spectrum rPETG
retains the properties of classic PETG—ease and efficiency of printing—while combining them with very low shrinkage and relatively
high tensile strength. To make 3D printing more sustainable, Spectrum r-PETG
is wound on a cardboard, eco-friendly spool.
Note: As this is a fully recycled material, Spectrum rPETG may be unavailable or have longer lead times due to limited raw material availability.
Key features:
- made from recycled materials- lower environmental impact due to waste reuse- eco-friendly cardboard spool- easy printing, similar to regular PETG- no warping after cooling- heat deflection temperature – 70"C
Applications:
- educational projects- prototyping- visualization of final and semi-finished products- industrial design- interior appearance- conceptual models
Filament specifications:
- filament diameter: 1.75mm / 2.85mm- extrusion temperature: 230–255"C- bed temperature: 60–80"C- printing speed: 30–70mm/s
