Ecological 3D Printing
Spectrum rPLA is an eco-friendly 3D printing
material that fits into the sustainability initiative. The filament is made
by reusing a recycled waste stream from extrusion leftovers. The raw material
is collected, shredded, remixed, and homogenized into a high-quality and
easy-to-print recycled PLA filament with a much lower environmental impact.
Spectrum rPLA retains the properties of classic PLA—ease and efficiency of
printing—combined with very low shrinkage and relatively high tensile strength.
To make 3D printing more sustainable, Spectrum rPLA is wound on an
eco-friendly cardboard spool.
Note: As this is a fully recycled material, Spectrum rPLA may not be
available at all times or may have longer delivery times due to limited
raw material availability.
