PLA MATTE is a material with a modified chemical composition designed to achieve a matte surface finish. The adjustments to the filament formulation improve mechanical strength properties such as impact resistance, flexibility, and durability compared to objects made from standard PLA. Additionally, the use of additives not only enhanced impact resistance and reduced brittleness of printed objects but also increased heat resistance (approximately 75 "C).
Thanks to these properties, PLA MATTE is mainly used for showcasing aesthetic qualities — e.g., industrial design prototyping for concept visualization and design option presentation. It is also used in interior design and architectural models.
Key features:
• improved mechanical strength
• highly efficient printing
• low shrinkage
• excellent interlayer adhesion
• high-quality matte side surface with minimal visible layers
• higher thermal resistance (75 "C) compared to standard PLA
Applications:
• interior design
• educational projects
• architectural models
• industrial design prototyping for concept visualization
Filament specifications:
- filament diameter: 1.75 mm
- density: 1.24 g/cm³
- extrusion temperature: 185–215 "C
- bed temperature: 0–45 "C
- printing speed: 40–110 mm/s
