The ergonomic chair Powerton LUCIE is an excellent choice for those who want to improve their sitting comfort. This ergonomic chair provides proper support for the spine and lower back, helping to reduce pressure on the back muscles and spine, thereby minimising the risk of back pain. The chair is made from high-quality materials that ensure long durability and resistance. It features a padded seat and a mesh backrest that allows better air circulation, reduces sweating, and improves overall comfort. Additionally, the chair includes an adjustable lumbar support and headrest, allowing you to customise the chair to suit your needs perfectly.
Synchro Mechanism
The synchro mechanism enables synchronised movement of the seat and backrest, moving together in a 2:1 ratio. This means that when the seat moves one centimetre forward, the backrest moves two centimetres backward. This synchronised movement is adjustable and allows for comfortable, ergonomic sitting. It can be locked in four positions. This mechanism automatically adjusts the counter-pressure according to the user’s body weight, allowing the backrest to adapt naturally to movement and provide optimal support for the back and neck. It helps reduce fatigue caused by long hours of sitting.
Seat Depth Adjustment
Proper seat depth adjustment allows your feet to rest flat on the ground, ensuring proper spinal alignment and good blood circulation in the legs. If the seat is too short, you’ll lack thigh support, which may lead to discomfort and back pain. If the seat is too long, it can cause uneven weight distribution, discomfort, and lower back pain. Seat depth adjustment is therefore essential for optimal ergonomics and comfort, especially for users of different body sizes.
It is important to find the right height of the backrest to support correct posture and minimise tension in the spine and neck. The UP-DOWN system operates without control levers and locks automatically in the top and bottom positions. By moving the entire backrest upwards, you can set the lumbar support in the most comfortable position for your body height.
The height- and angle-adjustable headrest provides support for the head and neck. Its main function is to reduce tension and pressure on the cervical spine, helping to relieve neck pain. The headrest can be adjusted in both height and tilt to match your preferred position and comfort level.
Seat height adjustment is important for proper ergonomics and comfortable sitting. It helps minimise strain on the lower back and legs, improving comfort and productivity. The correct height allows your feet to rest flat on the floor, with knees at a 90° angle. The gas lift allows for 11 cm of height adjustment, which can be locked in any position.
