Among the specific properties of Smart ABS filament are high impact resistance and relatively high stiffness. Compared to classic ABS filament, the “smart” variant shows improved processing parameters that significantly reduce the difficulties associated with additive manufacturing using standard ABS. Essentially, it means less shrinkage and reduced emissions of irritating volatile compounds during processing. A major advantage is that the material retains its properties at temperatures as low as -40"C.
