No More Glossy Surface
PLA MATTE is a material with a chemically modified composition designed to achieve a matte surface finish on objects. The modifications to the filament composition have improved mechanical strength properties, including impact resistance, flexibility, and durability compared to standard PLA items. Furthermore, the use of additives has enhanced impact resistance, reduced brittleness of printed objects, and allowed for higher heat resistance (about 75"C). With these properties, PLA MATTE applications are mainly focused on showcasing primary aesthetic values, i.e., industrial design prototyping for concept visualization and demonstration of design variants. It is also used for interior design purposes and architectural models.
