No more glossy surface
PLA MATTE is a material with a chemically modified composition that allows a matte surface finish of printed items. The adjustments in filament composition improved the mechanical properties such as impact resistance, flexibility, and durability compared to items made from standard PLA. Additionally, the use of additives enhanced not only impact resistance and reduced brittleness of printed objects, but also enabled higher thermal resistance (about 75 "C).
Thanks to these properties, PLA MATTE is mainly used where visual quality is key—such as industrial design prototyping for concept visualization and presentation of structural design variants. It is also used in interior design and architectural models.
Key Features:
- enhanced mechanical strength
