The synchro mechanism allows the seat and backrest to move simultaneously in a 2:1 ratio. This means that when the seat moves forward by one centimetre, the backrest moves backward by two centimetres. This synchronised movement is adjustable and enables comfortable and ergonomic sitting. It can be locked in five positions. When using the synchro mechanism, the backrest automatically adapts to your movement to provide optimal back and neck support, helping to reduce fatigue caused by prolonged sitting.

The base features an adjustable mechanism that allows you to set the seat and backrest tension according to your body weight. To adjust the tension, turn the control knob under the seat clockwise to increase tension or counterclockwise to decrease it. If you weigh less than average, you will want to reduce the tension to allow easier movement. Conversely, if you are heavier, increasing the tension will help you maintain proper posture. It is important to set the tension according to your own body weight to ensure correct ergonomics. Tension set too high or too low may cause back or neck pain and result in non-ergonomic sitting, which can lead to health issues.

It is important to find a backrest height that supports the correct body posture and minimises strain on the spine and neck. The up-down system is a positioning mechanism without control levers – it automatically releases in the top position and locks in the bottom position as the entire backrest moves upward. By vertically adjusting the backrest, you can set lumbar support to a position suitable for your height.

Proper seat depth allows you to sit with your feet flat on the floor, ensuring correct posture and healthy blood circulation in your legs. If the seat is too short, it may not provide enough thigh support, leading to discomfort and poor posture. On the other hand, if the seat is too long, it may cause uneven weight distribution, resulting in discomfort or pain in the lower back, hips, and thighs. Therefore, adjusting seat depth is essential for optimal ergonomics and comfort, especially for users of different body sizes.
