The synchronous mechanism allows the seat and backrest to move together in a 2:1 ratio — when the seat tilts forward by one centimetre, the backrest tilts back by two. This movement is adjustable and provides comfortable, ergonomic sitting. It can be locked in four positions. The smooth transition of seat and backrest angles helps prevent repetitive strain injuries (RSI) caused by small repetitive motions during computer work and reduces static muscle tension through active sitting. The chair’s mechanism allows adjustment of the counterbalance force according to the user’s body weight. Turn the right-hand lever under the seat clockwise to increase stiffness or counterclockwise to decrease it. Lighter users will prefer lower resistance for easier movement, while heavier users should increase it to maintain proper posture. Setting the counterbalance correctly according to body weight ensures proper ergonomics and prevents strain. Proper seat depth ensures your feet rest flat on the floor, keeping your spine aligned and supporting good blood circulation in the legs. A seat that is too short provides insufficient thigh support and may cause back pain; a seat that is too long can create pressure on the legs and lower back discomfort. Adjustable seat depth offers optimal ergonomics and comfort for users of different body sizes. The ergonomically shaped backrest with pronounced lumbar support is height-adjustable using the UP-DOWN mechanism. This system automatically releases at the top position and locks when lowered. Moving the entire backrest upwards adjusts the lumbar support height for optimal alignment with the user’s body, helping reduce neck and spinal strain. Seat height adjustment is key for ergonomic and comfortable sitting. It helps minimise tension in the lower back and legs, improving comfort and productivity. The gas lift offers a height range of 8 cm and can be locked in any desired position. The armrests support the arms and enhance comfort with three-way adjustment — height, depth, and angle. Height adjustment aligns the armrests with the seat for proper arm and shoulder position. Depth adjustment sets the distance between the armrests and the backrest, improving lower back support.
